"Stand Up to Hate" Rally - Support for Asian Americans

On March 14, 2021, in response to an alarming increase in bias incidents and violence against Asian Americans, New York Youth Roundtable participated in the “Stand Up To Hate” rally that gained the support of more than 50 community organizations.

“Stand Up to Hate” is a rally that drew hundreds to the front steps of the Theodore Roosevelt Executive & Legislative Building, organized by Nassau County Legislator Joshua Lafazan (Woodbury) in partnership with Gordon Zhang, President of the Long Island Chinese American Association and Farrah Mozawalla, Executive Director of Nassau County's Office of Asian American Affairs.

New York Youth Roundtable is in support of the Asian Americans population, jointly condemning violent attacks and seeking safety and justice in Asian communities.
