2024 Fall High School Speech Competition
Join Us in Shaping the Voices of Tomorrow!
We are proud to announce our 2024 Fall High School Speech Competition, inspired by the engaging format of TED Talks. This exciting opportunity allows high school students to showcase their speaking talents, share their innovative ideas, and compete for prestigious awards.
Eligibility
High School Students (grade 9-11)
The first 20 registrants will receive a $100 gift card.
All participants will have the opportunity for speech training.
Date
First Round: Dec 15th, 2024
Please email a share link (such as iCloud Drive or Google Drive) for your speech video and send a copy of your student ID to info@leaderny.org by Dec 15th, 2024. Speeches should be 5-7 minutes long. The top 10 contestants will be selected and notified by Dec 31st, 2024.
Final Round: Early 2025

Awards
Finalists Awards:
1st place: $500, 2nd place: $300, 3rd place: $200.
Special Awards: Best Content Award: $200, Best Delivery Award: $200, Audience Choice Award:$200.
All participants will receive a New York Youth Roundtable certificate.
